OTHELLO: AIRING ON CBC!

Cinematographer Glen Keenan’s unique stage to screen adaptation of Shakespeare’s OTHELLO: THE TRAGEDY OF THE MOOR directed by Zaib Shaikh will premiere Sunday June 15th, 2008 at 9 PM EST on CBC. 

The two-hour theatrical TV adaptation is based on William Shakespeare’s tragedy. OTHELLO stars Carlo Rota (Little Mosque on the Prairie) as Othello, Christine Horne (The Stone Angel) as Desdemona, Graham Abbey (The Border) as Cassio and Matthew Deslippe (Across the River to Motor City) as Iago.

With dramatic cinematography, “OTHELLO: THE TRAGEDY OF THE MOOR” is not to be missed!

DYLAN MACLEOD ROAMS THE WORLD: GROUND RULES

TORONTO, ON – June 10, 2008 - DYLAN MACLEOD has spent the past month and a half shooting an innovative documentary for Science North with director John Milne.  GROUND RULES follows the development of a new mine as it works to become a model of sustainable practices. Shooting in Chile, Indonesia, Australia, USA and Ghana and utilizing his new Red One digital camera, Dylan has been breaking new ground of his own with this unique project. He is available for commercial work as of June 15th.

Brendan has shot commercials for such prestigious brands as 3M, BC Tourism, HotDocs, McDonalds, Nissan, OLGC and Smarties, music videos for Feist, Jully Black, Talib Kweli, Live, Metric, The Trews and The Tea Party. His film credits include Harm’s Way, Living Death, Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey, The Last Sect and Warriors of Terra.

Brendan has been behind the camera for many acclaimed directors including harv, Pete Henderson, Drew Lightfoot, Lisa Mann, Micah Meisner, RT!, Stephen Scott, Warren Sonoda, Yael Staav, Bradley Walsh, Benjamin Weinstein, and Peter Wellington.
