Sesler & Company is pleased to announce the addition of Trent Opaloch to the company’s roster for exclusive representation. As a cinematographer, Trent has built a visually impressive and diverse reel.
Trent has shot commercials for such prestigious brands as Adidas, Lululemon, Panasonic, and Visa; music videos for Bif Naked, Edwin, New Meanies and Radiogram.
He recently completed the upcoming Sony feature film District 9, opening in theatres this summer. Additional film credits include Darklands, Terminus and Halo.
Trent has been behind the camera for many acclaimed directors including Neill Blomkamp, Bob Brooks, Trevor Cawood, Robin Hays, Cooper Johnson, David Kellogg, Terry Tatchell, and Richard Valentine.

Sesler & Company celebrated the night away at the 2009 CSC Awards in Toronto this past weekend. With 4 CSC Awards there was a lot to celebrate!
We proudly congratulate our awards winners: Jeremy Benning for Best DocuDrama Cinematography; Ray Dumas CSC for Best Dramatic Short Film Cinematography; Douglas Koch CSC for Best Commercial Cinematography and Brendan Steacy for Best Music Video Cinematography. Douglas and Ray are previous award recipients. This was a first time honour for both Jeremy and Brendan. Congratulations also to our nominees, Dylan Macleod CSC, Adam Marsden CSC and Rene Ohashi CSC, ASC

RENE OHASHI, ASC CURRENTLY SHOOTING ELEVENTH HOUR FOR JERRY BRUCKHEIMER
RENE displays his impressive talent with dramatic cinematography in Jerry Bruckheimer’s new TV series ELEVENTH HOUR for Warner Bros starring Rufus Sewell and Marley Shelton. This captivating series is based on the British science/investigation series. ELEVENTH HOUR airs Thursday nights at 10pm on CBS.

ADAM MARSDEN FINISHES FEATURE FILM DURESS
ADAM has just completed principal photography in Los Angeles shooting the psychological thriller DURESS with director Jordan Barker. Produced by Julio Caro of “The Cell” this haunting tale stars Martin Donovan (“Weeds”) and Catherine Dent (“The Shield”).
BRENDAN STEACY RETURNS FROM ROMANIA
BRENDAN is currently wrapping principal photography on the SCI FI Channel’s cable feature SAND SERPENTS directed by Jeff Renfroe (“Civic Duty”) in Romania.
JEREMY BENNING WRAPS THE GREAT SPERM RACE
JEREMY spent the fall shooting the new docu-drama feature, THE GREAT SPERM RACE for BLINK FILMS (UK) and CREAM PRODUCTIONS (CDN) with director Julian Jones.
SIMON MESTEL’S NOTHING REALLY MATTERS SCREENS AT RADAR IN HAMBURG
The feature film, NOTHING REALLY MATTERS, directed by Jean-Marc Piche and starring Yannick Bisson, Pascale Bussiéres, Kenneth Welsh, and Gord Downie had it’s European debut at the Radar International Independent Film Festival in Hamburg on November 4, 2008 where it was also nominated in the best feature film category.
